I have found all the staff and gps helpful although I do not see my own gp at the practice as she was extremely unhelpful and I had to ask another gp to override her decision. The pharmacy team are wonderful
1. Getting an appointment has always been difficult, but I don't suppose there is much you can do. Theres only so many hours in the day to see sick people.
2. Getting a home visit is damn near impossible. Anything less than death and you can forget a home visit.
3. Dr Till is one of the best GP's I have ever had. He is a good listener, explains things in an easy to follow manner, but not patronising, he has a good sense of humour which puts me at ease when I have something tricky to talk about. He has been a great help to me over the years and I can't thank him enough.
4. All the nurses are friendly, caring and very professional.
5. One suggestion I would make, a drop-in clinic one day a week maybe. If I can't get an appointment at Harold Road I often have to go to Station Plaza which is open to everybody, anytime which is very convenient.
I would recommend this surgery to anyone. I have been with this practice for over 25 years and have dealt with many members of staff especially over the last 5 years and found everyone to be extremely kind and helpful.
